Steel Smoked

Steel Smoked is a barbecue restaurant based off an existing building in Albion, Michigan, and was inspired by the metalworking that takes place in Albion. The large presence of families in Albion, as well as the growing sense of community and town identity motivated the inclusion of a communal style dining experience. Aesthetically, Steel Smoked has a complimentary color scheme, and utilizes materials such as rich wood, steel, and soft seating to show the contrast of hard and soft, creating an inviting space for those in Albion to enjoy dinner together.

Custom flooring, ceiling features, ordering counter, bar, brand signage, stage area, and steel booth element round out the design, tailoring it to the needs of the client.
